London is honoured to host the 33rd meeting of the Cogan Ophthalmic History Society (COHS) from June 4th to 7th, 2020.
The meeting will be held at 1 Wimpole Street, the home of the Royal Society of Medicine in central London, with excellent transport connections and close to many major stores, museums and theatres.
The programme will allow members and guests time to explore the many and varied attractions that London offers.
Before the main meeting, the Royal College of Ophthalmologists will be hosting a reception on Thursday June 4th. Members and guests with their spouses and friends are invited to visit the College at any time between 2:30 and 7:00 pm to view the exhibits in the Museum and see the Skills Centre.
The COHS Reception & Dinner will take place on the Saturday evening, June 6th, at the Worshipful Society of Apothecaries, near St Paul’s Cathedral.
Booking for attendance at the meeting will open in early November, 2019, along with details of accommodation at the RSM and nearby hotels.
Abstracts of talks will also be called for in November, 2019.
Queries about the meeting should be directed to Richard Keeler who, with David Taylor, is hosting the meeting, at email@example.com.
We welcome participation and presentations by all those interested in vision and ophthalmic history! Non-member guests are welcome to attend and present at this and all Cogan Society meetings. We particularly welcome members of the European ophthalmological societies.
